TRENDING: DO YOU LYCRA WHAT YOU SEE?

Can someone set us straight? Are we in the 21st century here? Because it sure feels like we’re re-living the 90’s?

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re loving the fact that the 90’s are back! Oh those childhood memories of watching Hanson and Backstreet Boys on Saturday morning RAGE.. But now, lets talk fashion?!

The micro sunnies, the ugly ‘dad’ shoes, the ‘fanny-packs’ and backpacks. The matching tracksuits, high-waisted mum jeans and of course the socks ‘n’ heels.. or just ankle socks and shoes in general! Gee the 90’s were good to us, so who could blame us for bringing back the oh-so cool (and damn comfy) trends?!

Their is trend of late that we’re keen to get your opinion on. It’s caused a few debates and definitely more than a few glances in it’s direction.. the bike short or ‘pedal pushers’ as we like to call them.

Being the last piece of sporting attire you would think could be transformed into a fashionable look, has become the hottest trend this season. Paired with everything from heels to sneakers, trenches and blazers. You could say they’re quite a versatile piece.

Our take on the trend is more on the casual side. We love the fact you can whip on a pair of pedal pushers with some white sneakers and a trench to take you from gym to shopping, and maybe even a quick lunch meeting in between? Our choice of shorts- Burberry! Being the Rolls-Royce of bike shorts, or anything for that matter (*see what we did there), they were a no brainer purchase for jumping on the latest trend!
