THE MONOCROME LOOK
You might be thinking that head to toe tan is a bit OTT but we promise you it’s not! The key is layering textures and tones – it’s all about creating dimension and mixing fabrics. Leather, cotton, linen you name it, they all work with each other! Think leather jackets with turtle necks and long coats with wool jumpers but everything is that’s right you guessed it TAN!
Go for a more sophisticated look with monochrome tailoring. You can never go wrong with an all tan suit – it is such a power statement!
PAIR WITH WHITES
If an all tan outfit is a bit too daunting, break it up with touches of white which will not only ease you into this trend but also freshen up your look! You can add white to any tan outfit to give it that extra visual character. A crisp white button down shirt paired under a tan blazer – yes yes yes! What about a white bomber paired with tan chinos?
ADD POPS OF COLOUR
For all those people who are wanting to just dip their feet into the sea of tan, mixing tan with bold colours is another way to go about it. Mix and match tan with bright coral orange or cobalt blue. Maybe pair it with jeans, the choice is yours.
Want to be a bit more understated? You could just add some tan accessories to spice up your look. Think tan loafers, wallets, belts and sunnies.
Whether you fully embrace it or choose to inject little bits here and there, this trend is not going anywhere – it’s quite tan-acious if we say so ourselves.
