It may be over now but Stella McCartney’s pre-fall 2019 has us at a stand-still. With her clear use of neutral colours and our love of suiting, this collection is jaw-dropping.
It’s no secret that we do love an oversized piece, so you can imagine our reaction when McCartney’s collection featured nothing but oversized.. (again.. jaw-dropping). While oversized has a time and a place there is nothing that screams comfort like a good oversized blazer.
With a distinctive ’70s, romantic style, her pieces reflected the groovy era with long, flowing dresses, big sleeves, ankle-grazing skirts and you betchya’ FUR. While the thought of fur right now may seem incredibly ridiculous in the Australian heat, we’re here to tell you it’s coming and we are 100% going be ready!
With her combination of oversized ease and fur textures, not to mention a very neutral colour palette, this collection is one for the ages and certainly one for us. Pieces that will forever hold a place in your wardrobes and in our oversized, obsessed hearts!
