PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2020 RTW

Structured suits and draped silhouettes commanded our attention at Prozenza Schouler’s Spring 2020 ready-to-wear runway and we are loving it! Cascading with confidence, this collection seamlessly balanced the masculine with the feminine to reveal beauty within strength. 

A perfect palette of neutrals was complemented with pops of mustard and fiery orange, giving each look greater depth and character. A cohesive message of power and elegance was delivered with each strut as the collection featured structured tailoring married with gentle draping. 

This time it was all about exaggeration – as they say, the bigger the better! Dramatic shoulders, oversized collars and elevated waists took to the runway, giving us major 80s vibes. It was all about playing with proportions and finding the delicate balance between striking and understated. 

With mix of slouchy trenches, gathered maxi dresses, draped pants and strong blazers, this Proenza Schouler collection could be best described as an effortless blend of couture and sportswear. Playful yet sophisticated, we want to be this woman!

Can we also just a minute to talk about the accessories! From the simplicity of strong gold hoops to the unbuckled belts (which is definitely going to become the next trend), each addition gave these looks a raw feel whilst still remaining sleek and polished. And those heels! The chunky straps  wrapped around the feet in the most flattering way and all I can say is I need to get my hands on them!

There is only one word that can truly describe this collection – obsessed!
