PROENZA SCHOULER RTW SPRING 2019

Proenza Schouler step away from special occasion to take on everyday wear..

After their last two shows in Paris, Proenza Schouler designers, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, were warmly welcomed back to big apple!

Moving away from special occasion and opting for more everyday wearable pieces, the collection entailed a mixture of mannish cuts and exaggerated shapes (Base Colour are all over this!) while still holding onto the more polished side of their past collections. The signature Proenza Schouler style was most definitely still in tact!

With a large focus on denim, shirting and leather, we saw dropped-torso dresses, big half and half shirts, wide trousers and slope shoulder jackets.

The collection leaning towards menswear inspired, allowed for pieces such as oversized bags and over-the-top boots to make a large statement. The one serious question on our lips.. please tell us when we can (and if we can!) get our hands on these boots?!!
