IT’S WHAT’S UNDERNEATH THAT COUNTS

..well it is with Christian Louboutin.

The infamous red sole, screaming luxury and class, may quite possibly be the most recognisable shoe to ever step foot in the fashion industry (see what we did there?!). Christian Louboutin shoes, with their Pantone 18-1663 TPX red sole, have caught our attention.

The globally iconic red sole was born in 1993 after a prototype shoe was found a little dreary by Mr Louboutin. An assistant nearby was painting her nails a bold red at the time. This caught Mr Louboutin’s eye. Thus came about the unique idea of using this colour to cover the dull black sole. The vibrant Louboutin red sole was born.

Having past experience designing shoes for Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Maud Frizon, Christian Louboutin’s credentials are undeniably good. Whether it be stilettos, kitten heels or sneakers, a Louboutin shoe empowers the wearer, unleashing inner confidence with it’s bold symbol of red.

Christian Louboutin has made a huge footprint in the shoe industry (yes, we had to go there).. and you know what they all say, it’s what’s underneath that counts!
