DAYDREAMING WITH GIVENCHY
What are you daydreaming of doing once the world goes back to some sort of normality?
This is a strange time that we are in… on the one hand we miss our daily routines, meeting our friends and family, dressing up and going out! And on the other, it’s brought about some much needed time for ourselves… a moment for rest and quiet contemplation. It’s so easy to forget to pause and slow things down in our busy lives that seem to go by in an instance!
It’s in times like this that we find a new sense of gratitude for the things in our lives that we might’ve taken for granted. Eating out, going to events or spending time with loved ones – whatever it might be. Take this time as an opportunity to express gratitude and thanks for all the people and things in your life that bring you joy. Things that light a smile upon your face! I recently receive a beautiful gift, when a Givenchy Antigona Soft bag arrived at my door. A small gesture that brought happiness during this time. Whether it be big or small, simple things can change a mood.
Staying at home has encouraged us to press a reset button, to question what we find of value, and to contemplate what we want to do moving forward. It’s a precious time that we might not have again, so why not make the most of it!
Let’s take this time to reflect, dream and ponder over our blessings, achievements, goals and future aspirations. What are you daydreaming of doing once the world goes back to some sort of normality?
Waiting to just give family a hug or to join the girls for Friday night drinks? Are you looking forward to playing your favourite sport or maybe you are ready to take your new-found quarantine hobby to the next level? Maybe you have an exciting career achievement or family occasion event to celebrate? ..I know that I am dying to dress up and take my Givenchy Antigona Soft bag out for a spin!
Whatever it might be, travel through your field of thoughts and never mind what time it is, never stop reflecting and dreaming…. it’s a privilege not to be wasted.
